Lesson Plan Title: Time Management & Group Work

Context in which the lesson is set Group work is an integral to all Music units at KS3. Pupils are encouraged to take greater responsibility for managing their own time and given an opportunity to reflect on and develop good practice in these areas.
What the lesson is about Developing the skills needed to work in a group to produce a designated and publicly visible outcome within a limited timescale.
Expected outcomes Pupils will be more sympathetic to other members of the class, take greater responsibility for their own learning and work more efficiently together.
Details of Teacher and Pupil Activities Pupils are grouped with others whom they would not usually work with and set the task of working together to produce a presentation on what makes good group work within a limited space of time.
Extension Work Each group will work to it's own level within the set time available.
