Establishment of the Nazi party
in Germany in the 1930's following the failure of the Weimar Republic and
attaches a democracy by the Nazi S-a (storm troopers). Hitler's regime. Nazi
attitude to women and men, and other races. |

Propaganda picture of ideal Nazi
family issued to class in groups. The picture is analysed by the groups in
terms of what the Nazi's are trying to say through the picture. Teacher then
defines the meaning of the work propaganda, after teacher led class
discussion.
A picture of Hitler and a child (from textbook) is presented. The
question is asked "what are they trying to make us think?" Video on "The
Nazi's at 1936 Olympic games" and "Nazi attitudes to Jesus".
Project on propaganda - using textbooks and page reference from teacher,
they built up a file of propaganda posters.
