It’s Tea Time all over the world

Go on! Put the kettle on and become one of the many people who are making a real difference to people all over the world.

By simply inviting friends or colleagues for a cup of tea and piece of cake at 4pm on Friday 21 September (or any other time you’d like to join us!), you’ll be helping some of the world’s poorest communities work their way out of poverty.

If you’ve got a kettle, you’ve got the power

It’s called Tea Time. And it’s a new fundraising event for Christian Aid that couldn’t be easier to organise. In fact, you probably already have just about everything you need to hold a Tea Time. If you’ve got a kettle and some tea bags, you’ve got the power to do it.

And you can hold Tea Time anywhere: in your office, at church, at school, at home.

How does it work? Just ask your friends to give you a donation to Christian Aid in return for a cup of tea or delicious piece of cake. At 4pm on 21 September, people across the UK will be drinking tea together to help end poverty.

When you organise your Tea Time, Christian Aid will be on hand to help you every step of the way. So, order your free event pack. It’s got everything you need: invitations, recipes, information leaflets, and colourful posters.
