Trust and Obedience (Lower KS 3)

This lesson:

  • Complements QCA non-statutory unit 8c 'Beliefs and practice'
  • Provides opportunity for spiritual, moral and cultural development

Learning Objectives

Pupils will:

  • Explore ideas of trust, obedience and responsibility
  • Look at Mary as an example of trust in and obedience to God
  • Look at Christian trust in God
  • Look at the Bible as a way of knowing God
  • Learn that some Christians are encouraged to take action through trust in God
  • Explore issues around faith in a modern world
